In June 2015, the Hawai'i BOE approved the NA Hopena A'o, E-3 Policy. This framework allows for the development of employees and students in the skills, behaviors and dispositions that are reminiscent of Hawai_iês unique context and honor the qualities and values of the indigenous language and culture of Hawai'i.
