Changing the Odds for Student Success: What Matters Most

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

During this presentation, McREL International will introduce the What Matters Most Framework. The What Matters Most Framework identifies those areas that, when addressed properly, are most likely to have positive effects on student access. Stated differently, they are high-leverage, high-pay-off areas for school systems. Briefly, the components of the framework, which we describe in the presentation are as follows: Guarantee challenging, engaging, and intentional instruction; Ensure curricular pathways to success; Provide whole-child student supports; Create high-performance school cultures; Develop data-driven, "high-reliability" systems.
