This presentation will provide a window into the workings of a trial course that is demonstrating methodologies for integrating community partnerships with three STEM technologies. This project is an extension of the Modern Blanket Toss Project (modernblanketoss.org), a 3 year research grant establishing methodologies for bringing drone technologies into after school programs for underserved youth. Connections Public Charter School's after school program, Studio Shaka, is participating in this trial course. The presentation will relate to charter schools because it represents a model for training staff to work with students and community members and it introduces administrators to the powerful Hapara workspace backbone where curricula for the project resides.
